  • The ten principles of the UNGC
    Our company solemnly commits to supporting the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption. We will fully integrate these principles into the company’s strategy, operations, and culture, incorporate the United Nations Global Compact and its various principles into the decision-making process of the senior management, and actively participate in partnerships to advance the achievement of broader development goals.
    We have made diligent efforts to implement the principles of the Global Compact in the marketplace, the environment, the workplace, and the communities where we operate. We accept, support, and implement a set of core values within the scope of the company’s influence, covering the following areas: human rights, labor standards, the environment, and anti-corruption.
    Human Rights

  • Supplier Code of Conduct
    This Supplier Code of Conduct sets forth Nanjing Leading Chemical Co., Ltd. ’s requirements for suppliers regarding workplace standards, business practices, and social responsibility. We expect all suppliers to strictly comply with this Code to ensure the sustainability and ethics of the supply chain. Suppliers that repeatedly fail to meet the specified requirements identified through assessments shall take corrective actions. Suppliers that fail to fulfill the corrective actions will have their cooperation terminated or suspended until they meet our requirements.
    Code Provisions
    (I) Labor Rights and Interests
    1. Freedom of Employment Selection

    No forced, bonded, indentured, or involuntary labor shall be used. All work shall be based on the voluntary choice of employees.
    2. Prohibition of Child Labor
    No child laborers under the legally mandated minimum age of the place of operation shall be employed in any production processes. The minimum age generally refers to the age at which local compulsory education is completed; where explicit local laws and regulations stipulate otherwise, such local provisions shall prevail. Suppliers must verify the age of employees and retain copies of relevant supporting documents.
    3. Working Hours
    Working hours shall comply with local legal requirements. All overtime work shall be voluntary, and overtime hours shall not exceed the statutory limits except in cases of emergency or special circumstances.
    4. Wages and Benefits
    Wages paid by suppliers to employees shall meet the minimum wage standards and statutory benefit requirements stipulated by local governments, and suppliers shall ensure that employees receive their full wages in a timely manner.
    5. Anti-Discrimination
    No discrimination or harassment shall be practiced in recruitment and employment on the basis of race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or nationality, disability, pregnancy, religion, political affiliation, trade union membership, veteran status, protected genetic information, or marital status.
    6. Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
    Respect employees' right to freely establish and join trade unions, and shall not retaliate against employees for participating in trade union activities.
    (II) Health and Safety
    1. Safe Workplace Environment
    Establish a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with local laws, formulate safe work procedures and protective measures, control potential safety hazards that employees may face, and establish an occupational health and safety management system.
    2. Emergency Preparedness
    Formulate emergency response plans to ensure the safe evacuation of employees in emergency situations, and conduct regular drills.
    3. Occupational Injury and Illness Management
    Establish procedures for the prevention, management, tracking, and reporting of occupational injuries and illnesses.
    4. Sanitary Facilities
    Provide employees with clean toilet facilities, drinking water, and dining areas. If employee dormitories are provided, they shall be kept clean and safe, and equipped with hot water, adequate lighting, and other necessary facilities.
    5. Training
    Provide employees with appropriate workplace health and safety information and training.
    (III) Environmental Protection
    1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
    Comply with local environmental protection laws and regulations, establish an environmental management system, including obtaining necessary environmental permits and setting up effective reporting mechanisms.
    2. Pollution Prevention and Resource Reduction
    Implement effective measures at production and operation sites to prevent environmental pollution. Commit to taking corrective actions in the event of environmental pollution at production and operation sites, including the proper disposal of toxic and hazardous substances, wastewater, and waste materials. Minimize adverse impacts on communities, the environment, and natural resources to the greatest extent possible, while protecting public health and safety.
    3. Waste Management
    Classify, recycle, and properly dispose of solid waste to reduce waste generation.
    4. Energy and Water Resource Management
    Implement energy-saving measures to improve energy efficiency, utilize water resources rationally, and reduce waste.
    (IV) Ethical Standards
    1. Integrity in Business Operations

    Uphold the principle of integrity, comply with relevant national laws and regulations, and conduct fair competition in the market. Prohibit any form of corrupt practices such as bribery and kickbacks. Such corrupt practices include the direct or indirect payment or promise of payment of valuable items to any third party, including but not limited to representatives of commercial entities, government officials, political parties or political candidates, and employees, for the purpose of obtaining improper benefits or competitive advantages.
    2. Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
    Respect intellectual property rights and conduct the exchange of technologies or experiential knowledge in a manner consistent with intellectual property protection laws. No unauthorized use, reproduction, or dissemination of others' intellectual property rights shall be allowed.
    3. Privacy Protection
    Comply with laws and regulations related to privacy and data security when collecting, storing, processing, transmitting, and sharing personal information, and protect the security and privacy of personal information.
    Supervision and Enforcement
    1. Self-Assessment

    Suppliers shall conduct regular self-assessments on their compliance with this Code and submit self-assessment reports to Nanjing Cutting-Edge Chemical Co., Ltd.
    2. Audits
    Nanjing Leading Chemical Co., Ltd. reserves the right to conduct regular or irregular audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with this Code. Suppliers shall actively cooperate with audit work and provide necessary information and assistance.
    3. Handling of Violations
    In the event of a supplier’s violation of this Code, Nanjing Leading Chemical Co., Ltd. will take corresponding measures based on the severity of the violation, including but not limited to warnings, requirements for rectification, suspension of business cooperation, and termination of the partnership.

  • Complaint and Reporting Methods and Guidelines
    I. Methods and Scope of Complaints/Reports
    Internal employees, external cooperating factories, customers, and other parties may file complaints or reports via telephone, mail, in-person visits, or email.
    The scope of complaints and reports includes but is not limited to violations of laws and regulations such as breaches of business ethics (corruption), labor and human rights infringements, discrimination, and harassment.

    1.Provide specific information about the target of the complaint or report.

    IV. Requirements for Complaint/Report Submissions
    1.Complainants or reporters shall provide at least the name, address, and specific clues of the act related to the target of the complaint or report.
    2.Complainants or reporters must be truthful when reporting illegal acts, bear responsibility for the authenticity of the materials provided, and shall not frame others or fabricate facts.
    3.The main content of the complaint or report shall be as detailed and accurate as possible.
